Mathieu Valbuena will continue his football career in Greece and has signed for the Olympiacos B team.

The former France international started his career playing semi-pro football back in 2003 before eventually making the step up to play for the likes of Marseille, Dynamo Moscow, Lyon, and Fenerbahçe during which time he earned over 50 caps for his country.

Valbuena moved to Greece and signed for Olympiacos in 2019 and played four seasons for the team, winning the league three times.

After a season in Cyprus with Apollon Limassol, Valbuena signed for Athens Kallithea last season but couldn't help the team avoid relegation.

The 40-year-old clearly enjoys his time in Greek football though, after being announced a new signing for Olympiacos B, who are set to play in the second tier this season.
