The league's two unbeaten teams face off in Cleveland

Despite major protestations from Columbus Crew fans over the location of the match, the Crew and Inter Miami will square off in a battle of the two remaining unbeaten teams in MLS.

This marks the fourth time that unbeaten sides have squared off against each other after each playing at least five games.

Whitecaps look to set new scoring standard

The form of the Vancouver Whitecaps has been the shock of the season so far, but we're certainly beginning to get used to it.

After thumping Austin last weekend, the 'Caps have a chance to claim a position in the top of the goalscoring charts against St. Louis this weekend.

Only eight teams in league history have recorded a goal differential of +13 or better through their first nine matches of a season, and Vancouver could become the next.

Brian White eyes his own goalscoring history

Sticking with the game in St. Louis on Saturday, Whitecaps striker Brian White can etch his name in history after a staggering four-goal performance against Austin last weekend.

Should he score two more goals this weekend, White can become just the fifth player in league history, and the first since Chris Wondolowski in 2019, to score six goals over a two-game span.

Pep Biel on track to make club history in Charlotte

Pep Biel has been the catalyst for Charlotte's superb start to the season, and he is on pace to make some hometown history this weekend against San Diego.

With two or more goal contributions against San Diego, Biel would be the fastest player in club history to reach 10 goal contributions in a season, surpassing Karol Swiderski's previous record of 19 appearances — and he would do so in fewer than half of the matches.
