4 Barcelona stars tipped to depart as ‘painful’ sale considered | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona are giving consideration to what would be a ‘painful’ sale this summer.

That’s according to Relevo, who have on Saturday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona have already kicked into gear a search for reinforcements to Hansi Flick’s squad for next season.

And the early concern for Deco and co. amid this search is that, to fund significant arrivals, a big-money sale may be required.

The first two candidates to be part of as much, it is understood, come in the form of midfielder Frenkie de Jong, and defender Ronald Araújo.

Also named by Relevo as altogether surprising possible exits, though, are up-and-coming pair Gavi, and Fermín López:

‘We must also mention Gavi and/or Fermín, two players that Barça do not want to get rid of for anything in the world, but that if Hansi Flick does not give more attention to, at a certain moment could consider leaving.’
