4 Absentees in Sevilla squad for El Gran Derbi | OneFootball

Sevilla FC have announced their 23-man squad making the short journey across Seville to face Real Betis in El Gran Derbi on Sunday night.

Nemanja Gudelj and Óliver Torres join Adrià Pedrosa and Djibril Sow as the four absentees for Quique Sánchez Flores’ side.

Nemanja Gudelj’s absence comes after he successfully underwent knee surgery in Madrid on Wednesday.

In addition, Matías replaces Alberto Flores as third-choice keeper while Mariano and Kike Salas, the latter of whom missed the match against Mallorca due to suspension, also return.

Of the four absentees, only Óliver Torres has any possibility of returning to fitness before the end of the season.

Sevilla head across town to the Estadio Benito Villamarín having won three out of three in recent weeks.

Real Betis meanwhile have won their previous two games heading into Sunday evening’s clash, most recently a 2-1 win away against Valencia.
