The injury list at La Liga champions Real Madrid has this afternoon been added to by three new names.
Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are currently locked in action at the Santiago Bernabéu, looking well on their way to three points owing to goals on the part of Vinícius Jr, and Jude Bellingham.
As alluded to above, though, such endeavours on the part of Real Madrid have been soured considerably by a fresh round of blows on the personnel front.
First, inside the 20-minute mark in the Spanish capital, attacker Rodrygo limped out of proceedings with what appeared to be a muscular concern.
Then, a short time later, defender Éder Militão followed suit in altogether more alarming circumstances, stretchered off with what is expected to be confirmed as a serious knee injury.
And last up came Lucas Vázquez, who, after limping through the closing stages of the first-half, and being strapped up by the hosts’ medical team, failed to emerge for the 2nd-half.
Updates on all three will be provided post-match.
