Robert Lewandowski’s future at Bayern Munich continues to dominate the headlines. The 33-year-old will enter the final year of his contract with the club this summer and has made it clear that he does not wish to sign a new deal.

Having informed the Bavarian giants that he wants to move on in the summer, Lewandowski appeared to confirm his exit after their final Bundesliga game of the season against Vfl Wolfsburg, stating that he may have played his last match for the German champions.

Now, journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Lewandowski has plenty of admirers from across Europe, with Barcelona pursuing him with the strongest interest.

However, at the same time, the 33-year-old Poland international is also being chased by Paris Saint-Germain while there have been reports of interest from Premier League bigwigs Manchester United.

PSG need a player to replace Kylian Mbappe, who is headed for Real Madrid and are looking at Lewandowski as a potential option. As for Manchester United, they are in need for a new top striker amid question marks over the future of Cristiano Ronaldo.

But, Romano adds that Lewandowski will not entertain any approaches from either club as he is tempted by the prospect of playing for Barcelona in La Liga.

The Italian transfer expert adds that the former Borussia Dortmund hitman has his heart fixed on a switch to Camp Nou and has been gathering information about the club for months now.

A transfer is now only a matter of the Catalan giants and Bayern Munich negotiating and agreeing on a transfer fee. It remains to be seen how much the German champions demand for their ace goalscorer and whether Barça are in a position to meet their valuation.
