3 things we clearly learnt about Luton Town after their 1-0 victory vs Cardiff City

Luton Town jumped up the Championship table to fourth yesterday evening, securing a late 1-0 victory against Cardiff City.
Elijah Adebayo’s 88th-minute header proved to be the difference in Bedfordshire, with the towering forward also missing from the spot earlier in the evening.
The Hatters currently sit on the same number of points as Middlesbrough as third and a point above Watford in fifth, whilst they still possess a game in hand on both.
Here, we take a look at three things we clearly learnt about the Hatters after yesterday’s 1-0 victory against the Bluebirds…
Elijah Adebayo back to his best
Elijah Adebayo is back and is playing with lots of confidence after what had been a struggling start to the season.
The powerful frontman has now netted five in his last five matches, whilst his hold-up play and general ability has been at a very high level.
Causing havoc for the Cardiff defence for most of the evening last night, the 25-year-old enjoyed another excellent evening.
Missing a penalty in the 72nd minute, he could quite easily have gone hiding, however, he ended up popping up when it mattered.

Cody Drameh looks an exciting addition
On an evening when James Bree was handed his Southampton debut in the semi-final of the EFL Cup, Cody Drameh was handed his Luton debut.
The 21-year-old’s direct running and ability to get past his man was on display for the Kenilworth Road faithful to see, in what was a very good debut.
Luton lost a vital component of their side in losing Bree, however, it would appear that Drameh has the necessary abilities to thrive in the right-wing-back position.
Jordan Clark impresses again
Jordan Clark has been consistently fantastic for the Hatters this season and yesterday’s display was further proof of exactly that.
A player who reads the game quicker than most, he was productive and careful in possession, whilst he managed to inject life into the game in bursts.
The versatility he has shown in Luton colours has been brilliant but he has managed to find a home in the middle of the park it has to be said.
