Three up-and-coming players at La Liga giants Real Madrid have been named amongst the candidates to secure the next Golden Boy award.

The Golden Boy is an award handed out on an annual basis, by Italian outlet Tuttosport. It aims to recognise the standout up-and-coming talent in world football, handed to an U21 player in one of Europe’s top-five leagues.

The current holder is Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal, who scooped the prize following his explosion onto the first-team picture in Catalunya’s capital in 2023/24.

As things stand, the favourite to scoop this year’s edition of the prize is another Blaugrana starlet, in Pau Cubarsí.

But as alluded to above, three youngsters from the other half of the Clásico divide are also in the running for Tuttosport’s prestigious accolade.

The trio in question come in the form of Arda Güler, Endrick, and summer signing Dean Huijsen.

The winner of the Golden Boy award for 2025 will be made official in December.
