Carvajal played all of Spain's game as they sealed their qualification for the European Championship as group winners and will be seeded in the draw. Le Normand ('3) opened the scoring at the Estadio José Zorrilla, but Kvaratskhelia equalised for Georgia in the ninth minute. Ferrán Torres in the 54th minute and Lochoshvili, own goal in the 71st minute, completed Spain's victory in the second half. Joselu, who was also in the squad, didn't feature in the match.
