Tottenham Hotspur outcast Dele Alli will only consider Everton move on one condition

According to The Independent, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli will only decide to join up with fellow Premier League side Everton if a condition is met in the coming days. He has fallen out of favour under Antonio Conte, and his time at N17 could be coming to an end.

The Toffees are looking to bolster their attacking midfield areas following the sacking of Rafael Benitez. The Spaniard has put them in a precarious situation, and they are desperate to make a signing to boost their quality ahead of a crucial few months.

Alli, who has seen his stock fall in recent years, is considered an option, but the Merseyside club have not formally registered their interest. The midfielder would only entertain an offer if Everton could get rid of the uncertainty surrounding the managerial position.

Duncan Ferguson is currently employed as the interim manager, having succeeded Benitez, and led his side to a 1-0 loss at home to Aston Villa last weekend. With interviews lined up with prospective candidates, it remains to be seen if the Everton decision-makers can land their man.

Speed it up!

One thing that is interesting to note is that Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is supposedly the leading prospect for the managerial role. If he does end up taking over the position, the 25-year-old could be tempted to move to Goodison Park for that reason.

After all, the Englishman is in desperate need of regaining his lost magic and playing under one of the best attacking-midfielders the game has ever seen could prove to be a major draw. With just days to go before the January transfer window closes, it remains to be seen if Alli will move to Goodison Park.

It would be difficult to permanently find a club for the attacking midfielder since he has not been at his best for a while. So a loan would be the most likely solution, and we are waiting to see if the Toffees would approach us.

However, if the Spurs ace can replicate the early promise in his career, we could find it easier to offload him in the future. That is if he joins Everton and all the scenarios mentioned above align for our benefit. Whether that will happen or not remains to be seen.
