There haven't been many changes in the top scorers ranking following the third round of group stage matches at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
Top scorer in 2022, Ghizlane Chebbak has maintained her status by netting two braces against Zambia and DR Congo. The Moroccan star now shares the top spot with Senegalese striker Nguenar Ndiaye, who also bagged two doubles.
The two forwards are closely followed by Zambia's deadly duo, Barbra Banda and Racheal Kundananji, each with three goals to their name.
Here is the top scorers ranking ahead of the quarter-finals:
1- Ghizlane Chebbak (Morocco) 4 goals
– Nguenar Ndiaye (Senegal)
3- Barbra Banda (Zambia): 3 goals
– Racheal Kundananji (Zambia)
5- Mama Diop (Senegal): 2 goals
– Chinwendu Ihezuo (Nigeria)
– Alice Kusi (Ghana)
