The draws for the first-ever AFC Champions League Elite and AFC Champions League Two wwere made on Friday, August 16th in Kuala Lumpur where the K League contingent learned of who they'd be facing.
Ulsan HD have been given the chance to exact revenge on Yokohama F. Marinos as a repeat of the 2023-2024 ACL semifinal will see the Horangi make the trip across the East Sea to face last season's runners-up.
With the way the new format works, in an eight-game league system where teams will face different opposition at home and away, the three K League clubs will all face the same teams.
Gwangju FC's first-ever continental campaign will see their fans make trips to Shanghai Port (CHN), Vissel Kobe (JPN), Shandong Taishan (CHN), and Kawasaki Frontale (JPN) while Pohang Steelers face tricky away trips to Yokohama, Malaysia, and Buriram.
Divided into East and West, the top eight finishers of each League progress to the Round of 16, scheduled for March 2025, which will be followed by a unique centralised Finals that see all matches from the Quarterfinals onwards being contested in Saudi Arabia between April 25 and May 4, 2025.

In ACL2, the brand new second-tier competition, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors have been drawn into Group H with Selangor (MAS), Muangthong United (THA), and DH Cebu (PHI).
The action commences on September 17th with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the knockout stage.
