2023 remembered with iconic tifo of City’s Big Five | OneFootball

Today was the chance to remember what has been a truly wonderful 2023.

We ended the 2022/23 campaign in June as Treble winners after collecting the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.

That was amazing! But yet more success was on the horizon.We emerged victorious on penalties to claim the UEFA Super Cup in August and then followed that up with another trophy – the FIFA Club World Cup.

That ensured our possession of the Big Five – and we celebrated that this afternoon before our final home game of the year against Sheffield United.

The quality quintet of trophies was brought out onto the pitch by supporters ahead of kick-off and our superb squad gathered around them a photo opportunity with cheers reverberating around the stadium.

Then the piece de resistance – a giant tifo showcasing our honours and a centre-circle banner echoing our position as ‘The Best Team in the World and all the Land’.

It was an incredible moment as we said goodbye to an incredible 2023.
