Although the 2019/20 competition is set to resume in September - with City looking to defend the trophy - the FA have released the calendar for the 2020/21 tournament.

The preliminary and qualifying rounds will take place in September and October, before the First Round proper begins in mid-November.

All FA Women's Super League and FA Women's Championship sides, including holders City, will enter at the fourth round stage on the final day of January.

A total of 376 clubs have been accepted into the Women's FA Cup campaign for 2020/21.

The Final is pencilled in for Saturday 22 May 2021 at Wembley Stadium.

  • First Round Qualifying: Sunday 4 October 2020
  • Second Round Qualifying: Sunday 18 October 2020
  • Third Round Qualifying: Sunday 1 November 2020
  • First Round Proper: Sunday 15 November 2020
  • Second Round Proper: Sunday 29 November 2020
  • Third Round Proper: Sunday 10 January 2021
  • Fourth Round Proper: Sunday 31 January 2021
  • Fifth Round Proper: Sunday 28 February 2021
  • Quarter finals: Sunday 21 March 2021
  • Semi finals: Sunday 18 April 2021
  • Final: Saturday 22 May 2021

Reigning Champions City travel to Leicester City in the quarter-finals of the 2019/20 competition on the weekend of 26/27 September 2020.
