Fulham welcome Queens Park Rangers to Craven Cottage this weekend in the Sky Bet Championship, looking to get themselves back to winning ways after the international break, following on from their heavy loss at Coventry City.

The Whites have struggled for consistency a bit in the Championship this year, with them capable of blowing away teams and then throwing in the odd spanner or two into the works.

They’ll be eager to get back on track against the Hoops in a west London derby, then, and here we’re taking a look at two things Marco Silva needs to weigh up ahead of the game…

Silva changed a winning side as he looked to give some key players a rest against Coventry and he might be tempted to get back to the team that beat Swansea if possible.

Jean Michael Seri will surely return to the starting line-up as well as defender Tosin Adarabioyo who, despite making a mistake that gifted the Swans the goal in Fulham’s 3-1 win, is still a class defender.

Team selection is always crucial for games like this and Silva might feel it’s time to stick with what he knows.

How to deal with wing-backs?

Fulham have faced two sides in the last two games that employ wing-backs and a back-three, similar to QPR.

Indeed, they dealt with Swansea’s system very well indeed with the Welsh side offering little threat but then, of course, Coventry showed how that set-up can also cause Fulham problems.

QPR are more than likely going to use wing-backs and a back-three themselves this weekend and so Silva needs to find a plan to deal with that approach.
