After a great end to the season under Marti Cifuentes, QPR will be looking for a big transfer window to improve their squad in a bid to move up the league table.

As always, there are bound to be both incomings and outgoings at Loftus Road, but the aim will be to have a stronger squad when the window shuts than they did when it opened.

One player who looks set to leave the Hoops is Chris Willock, with the forward set to see his four-year stay in West London come to an end this summer when his contract expires.

Willock won't be the only player moving on this summer, so here are 2 QPR players who could be set to follow him out of Loftus Road this summer.

Sinclair Armstrong

Despite recently having his deal extended by a year, Sinclair Armstrong could depart Loftus Road this summer if he's unable to agree a new long-term deal with the club.

The Irishman was set to become a free agent this summer, but the club triggered a one-year extension to ensure that wasn't the case, but they'll need to tie him down to a long-term contract to ensure they're not at risk of losing him for free next summer.

However, that could be a problem, with The Athletic reporting that there has been no progress in discussions over a new deal, and that the striker could still leave this summer.

It gives QPR a headache as they'll want to keep hold of him, but know that they also can't afford to lose him on a free next summer, so Cifuentes and the club's hierarchy face a conundrum in the coming months.

It is reported that Armstrong is the subject of interest from clubs in the Premier League, Championship and abroad, and there is always a risk that he could leave unless he puts pen to paper on a new long-term deal.

The 20-year-old has made 64 appearances in total since joining from Shamrock Rovers, scoring four goals and winning the club's Young Player of the Year award for the last two seasons.

Taylor Richards

Former Manchester City youth product Taylor Richards joined on a free transfer from Brighton last summer, but his move to QPR hasn't worked out so far.

Richards spent the 2022/23 season on loan at QPR, where he made just 16 appearances, and things got even worse for him during the most recent season, and he featured just five times for Cifuentes' side.

The midfielder has played just 21 times for the Hoops across two seasons, and you'd have thought that they'd be desperate to get him off their books this summer, whether that be on loan or on a permanent basis.

The 23-year-old is no longer a youngster and needs to play football on a regular basis, even if it means dropping down a division.

Admittedly, Richards hasn't been helped by injuries, but you can't help but feel that a fresh start might benefit all parties this summer, and you'd struggle to find QPR fans who'd be upset if they parted ways with the former Brighton man in the coming months.
