2-2: Valverde's Uruguay pick up a point in Colombia

Uruguay hit a very late leveller against Colombia to draw 2-2 at Barranquilla's Estadio Metropolitano in their 2026 World Cup qualifier. Federico Valverde captained his national team, playing the full 90 minutes and was one of the star performers for Marcelo Bielsa's men. James Rodríguez made it 1-0 with 35 minutes gone, before Olivera hit back on 47'. Colombia went ahead again through Uribe, but Núñez made it 2-2 from the spot in the 91st minute.
