Real Madrid lost to Häcken in Gothenburg, Sweden, in the second match of the Women's Champions League group stage. Toril's side took an early lead through Bruun, but the Swedes managed to turn the scoreline around with two goals in the second half. The goal spurred the home side on and they made it 2-1 a quarter of an hour later. A lightning-quick counter-attack was finished off by Kosola with a shot into the top corner. Real Madrid continued to push forward in search of an equaliser, but the scoreline remained unchanged until the final whistle.
