Australia made it through to the quarter-finals after beating Denmark 2-0. Madrid's Hayley Raso was in the starting line-up and scored her team's second goal in the 70th minute, capping off a good team move. The forward played 80 minutes and notched her third goal of the World Cup and is Australia's top scorer in the competition. Bruun came on for Denmark in the 63rd minute and Svava was not involved.

Raso's Australia will play the winner of the France-Morocco match in the quarter-finals. The match will take place on Saturday 12 in Brisbane (9am CEST).
