FC Barcelona got a memorable 4-3 victory over Celta Vigo in the last league game. The fact that the Blaugranes had gone down by 2 goals by the 62nd minute but still responded with a great performance to get a win right before the full-time whistle once again showed the world that they are here to win all the important titles and will do everything possible to achieve this objective.
This win was definitely a delightful affair for the Catalan team’s head coach, Hansi Flick, and the fans. However, not everyone associated with Barcelona seemed to be happy on the night.
This was particularly the case for Ferran Torres, when he was replaced in the 59th minute and he did not make any efforts to hide his displeasure. Similarly, Ansu Fati was also seen kicking any object that came his way after not getting on the pitch despite having warmed up for a significant time.
The fullback Hector Fort was another player who did not seem too happy last night. As Mundo Deportivo has reported, Flick greeted all the Barcelona players who came his way at the end of the match against Vigo. However, when he reached Fort, the youngster made a gesture of disapproval and did not hug his coach.
The German tactician tried talking to him and whispered something in his ear, following which the defender left the pitch and made his way to the locker room.
One can sympathise with Fort in this situation, as he has not had a lot of prominence with the Catalan team this season. The defender has played only 480 minutes from the possible total of 4590, appearing in only 15 of the 51 games Barcelona have played.
In La Liga, he has not had even a single minute in the last six games, while in the UCL, his only appearance was the 27 minutes he played against Young Boys.
Hopefully, Flick will have convinced the defender of his importance in the squad, and he will get some minutes in the coming few matches to rest Jules Kounde.
