The coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid are ready to afford a first-team berth to a highly-regarded member of the club’s academy ranks.

That’s according to Relevo, who point towards Diego Aguado as the player in question.

Aguado, for his part, is a 17-year-old defender, who generally lines out in a central role.

The starlet has long been making a name for himself as one of the standout performers on the books of Real Madrid Castilla, considered a potential future star in the making.

Amid the ongoing injury crisis at the heart of Los Blancos’ backline, Aguado, in turn, has spent recent days training alongside the club’s senior stars.

And, across this time, the Spaniard, evidently, managed to impress.

This comes amid confirmation that Aguado is being lined up for an immiment matchday call-up to Carlo Ancelotti’s ranks.

As much could even come as soon as tomorrow, when the capital heavyewights make the trip to Leganés for their post-international break return to action.
