One Liverpool wonderkid made his debut for the Reds after completing his £1.5m move to the club.

It was a relatively quiet transfer window for Arne Slot's side this summer. The club waited until the very last moments in the window to complete the signing of Giorgi Mamardashvili and bring in Federico Chiesa.

But it wasn't just first-team signings who Liverpool brought in over the course of the summer.

The Reds also secured the signature of the highly rated Rio Ngumoha, who even John Terry has tipped to go far in the game.

And they also brought in Alvin Ayman, who has been less talked about but who is equally as highly rated.

Ayman was signed in a £1.5m deal from Wolverhampton, but he had to wait two months in order for his move to be completed.

He was finally announced as a Liverpool player on his social media account towards the end of last month.

Now, during the international break, Ayman has also made his debut for the club.

According to This is Anfield, he featured in a 6-1 friendly victory for Liverpool's U18 side taking on Robbie Fowler's academy team.

The youngster caught the eye and was deployed in a central-midfield position, although he is capable of playing as a centre-back as well.

Who is Liverpool wonderkid Alvin Ayman?

Ayman was born in 2008 and came through the youth ranks at Bradford before moving to Wolverhampton's academy. He has already featured regularly in the U18 Premier League.

Including making an impressive outing against Liverpool towards the end of last season's campaign. Ayman starred in a midfield role during Wolves's 4-2 victory over the young Reds.

As per Wyscout, he completed 5/5 dribbles in the game, while having a 91% pass completion rate, seven passes into the final third and making eight recoveries.

If that's anything to go by, Liverpool could have an exciting player on their hands.
