It was a night full of drama at the Allianz Stadium with two VAR checks awarding penalties to either side in the first half.

Cristiano Ronaldo tapped home his initially saved penalty before Romelu Lukaku converted from the spot himself 10 minutes later.

Right before the break, Juan Cuadrado’s strike handed Juventus a 2-1 lead.

The night then took a turn for the hosts after a second yellow for Rodrigo Bentancur left Juventus with 10 men for the final 30 minutes.

Inter eventually found an equaliser after a tussle between Giorgio Chiellini and Lukaku saw the ball deflect off the Juventus captain and into the net. Despite protests from the hosts, VAR let the goal stand.

Immediately after though, Cuadrado converted a game-winning penalty to send Juventus up to fourth in the table.

In the dying moments, Marcelo Brozovic earned two consecutive yellows which saw Inter also finish the game with 10 men.
