An update on the personnel situation in Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain squad has today come to the fore.

And the news will no doubt pique attentions across the fanbase of the French champions’ upcoming opponents, Barcelona.

This comes amid confirmation that PSG have been dealt something of a blow in their plans for Wednesday night’s Parc des Princes clash.

After being forced into a premature departure from the club’s weekend meeting with Clermont owing to a head injury, Nordi Mukiele was absent from group training on Monday.

And, according to Mundo Deportivo, the 26-year-old will not return in time to face Barcelona, having been advised to ‘rest in compliance with medical protocols’.

As much will come as a major source of concern for PSG, in the knowledge that first-choice right-back Achraf Hakimi has already been ruled out of the clash, through suspension.

On a more encouraging note for the capital outfit, Bradley Barcola trained as normal on Monday.

The winger, a key member of Luis Enrique’s attacking ranks, picked up a muscular injury whilst on international duty with France’s U21s two weeks ago.

After stepping up his recovery last week, though, Barcola was given the green light to see out the entirety of PSG’s Monday training session, therefore in line to take his place in the matchday setup on Wednesday.
