Real Madrid Castilla picked up a point from their visit to Pontevedra. The reserve team went ahead thanks to a first half goal from Peter. The home side snatched a late equaliser in the 89th minute, making it 1-1. Raúl's side are now in second place in the table with 41 points, two points off the top.
Our team took the upper hand in the first half. The madridistas were putting balls into the box and in the 15th minute, Álvaro Martín put the ball and Peter missed the target by a whisker. Rafa Marín could have opened the scoring ten minutes later, but his header went wide. Raúl's side's persistence paid off in the 35th minute. Peter headed home Obrador's cross to go ahead before the break.
The reserve team were unlucky The home side pushed for an equaliser after the break and came close with headers from Churre and Derik shortly after the interval. Iker Bravo could have doubled the lead in the 52nd minute when Cacharrón saved well in a one-on-one. Despite the reserve team's dominance, Pontevedra continued to push forward and Yelko went close with a well-struck shot. In the 90th minute, Charles made it 1-1 with a header as the match ended all square.
