The goal was originally ruled out when it appeared the Brazilian used his arm to guide the ball into the back of the net, but after a VAR check the goal was given – much to the dismay of the Almería bench.

The visitors already felt they had not gotten the rub of the green in the second half, seeing their goal ruled out for a foul in the build-up only minutes after conceding a controversial penalty.
