Brighton have reportedly placed current player Adam Lallana as Graham Potter’s successor on a temporary basis.

Lallana is currently sidelined with an injury and is expected to lead Brighton out against Bournemouth this weekend whilst the club search for a permanent solution.

Following Saturday’s clash with the Cherries, Brighton don’t play until October 1.

There was speculation surrounding assistant coach Bruno taking over following Potter’s move to Chelsea, however the Spaniard has decided to follow the new Blues boss to London, alongside assistant Bill Reid and first-team coach Bjorn Hamberg.

Brighton’s under-21 coach Andrew Crofts has stepped up to the role of interim head coach, alongside his assistant Shannon Ruth, set-piece coach Nick Stanley and assistant goalkeeping coach Jack Stern.
