England could be without Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount for their Euro 2020 last 16 clash, the FA have confirmed.

The Chelsea pair are currently isolating after coming into contact with Scotland’s Billy Gilmour, who tested positive for coronavirus on Monday.

Gilmour, a Chelsea team-mate, is also now isolating for 10 days.

An FA statement on Tuesday confirmed the England pair will now isolate up to and including Monday of next week.

Should England fail to beat the Czech Republic on Tuesday evening they will likely finish second in Group D and face the runners-up of Group E in Copenhagen next Monday evening, meaning Chilwell and Mount would not be available.

If England do win at Wembley on Tuesday, they will have exactly one week until their last 16 game, but the two players could still miss out having not trained with the team for an entire week.
