Tottenham are close to appointing Paulo Fonseca as their new manager, according to The Athletic.
Spurs have been in ‘advanced negotiations’ with Fonseca since Wednesday and are expected to announce his arrival early next week.

It’s understood that the 48-year-old has been strongly recommended by incoming general manager Fabio Paratici – who is joining from Juventus and also likely to be confirmed over the weekend.
The former Roma manager is poised to sign a contract until 2023, with the option for one additional year.
