Zazzaroni Reveals: ‘Inter Milan Willing To Raise Offer For Ademola Lookman – But Atalanta Won’t Name A Price’ | OneFootball

Ivan Zazzaroni says that Inter Milan are willing to raise their offer for Ademola Lookman – but Atalanta “won’t name a price.”

The Corriere dello Sport editor explained, via FCInterNews, that the Nerazzurri are not sure whether they will be able to meet La Dea’s demands as they do not know them.

Inter Milan had a second bid for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman rejected yesterday.

The Nerazzurri had initially offered €40 million for the Nigerian international. Then, for their second offer, they put €45 million on the table including add-ons this week.

However, that was still not enough for the Bergamo club.

This has cast significant doubt over Inter’s pursuit of Lookman.

And the big question is not just whether the Nerazzurri will make a higher offer. There is also little certainty on whether or not Atalanta would accept a bid raised by another few million euros.

Corriere dello Sport editor Ivan Zazzaroni, who initially broke the news of Inter’s interest in Lookman, reveals that “Inter would be willing to raise their offer.”

“But only if they were to know what the price tag for Ademola Lookman is.”

“If, for example, the valuation is €60 million, then Inter would abandon the deal.”

“However, if it’s €50 million, then they would be ready to negotiation,” Zazzaroni anticipates.

“It’s legitimate that Atalanta have rejected an offer. However, it’s strange that they would not name a price.”

“It’s for this reason that people have found the whole thing to be incredible,” Zazzaroni adds.
