Paris Saint-Germain starlets Warren Zaire-Emery (17) and Bradley Barcola (21) have been revealed to be the most valuable French players under the age of 23 in Ligue 1, according to CIES Football Observatory.

CIES Football Observatory is a football research group specialising in player transfer values and team profiles that is part of the broader International Centre for Sports Studies ( Centre International des Études de Sport (CIES)) , an education and research group formed in 1995 as a joint venture between FIFA and the University of Neuchatel (Switzerland).

At 77.1M€ and 58.4M€ respectively, Zaire-Emery and Barcola are followed by LOSC Lille’s Lucas Chevalier (22), Olympique Lyonnais’ Rayan Cherki (20) and Stade Rennais’ (and ex PSG) Arnaud Kalimuendo (22).

The Parisian duo have been central to a cultural change at the club this season, with coach Luis Enrique overseeing a transition away from expensive, big-name stars to younger French talent. With the protracted departure of Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid, expectations will fall on the shoulders of not only the aforementioned talents, but also the likes of Randall Kolo Muani and Ousmane Dembélé as the next stars of the Qatar Sports Group project.
