Young Leaders Summit Wraps Up | OneFootball

The US Young Leaders Summit 2025 concluded today with final reflections and a celebratory closing dinner to end an unforgettable week in Atlanta.

Throughout the Summit, the 16 Young Leaders have formed meaningful connections, grown in confidence, and developed new skills in community coaching to take back to their cities.

From exploring Atlanta’s rich cultural history with club legends to leading soccer clinics and learning from expert coaches, the experience has empowered each participant to continue driving change through soccer.

To close the week, Young Leaders shared reflections on what the Summit meant to them and their aspirations for how they will use what they’ve learned to inspire others.

Reflecting on his experience, Bardia, a Young Leader from Chicago, said: “I’m grateful and honoured to be here. I think we’ve built a strong sense of community among all of us, and I’m excited to keep this going beyond this experience.”

Looking back on the Young Leaders’ development, Natalie Sutcliffe, at City in the Community, said: “My highlight of the week has been seeing the Young Leaders’ confidence grow. They gelled so quickly as a group and have challenged each other to learn and develop. I’m excited to see what they take back and put into their community projects at home.”
