There were two rearranged WSL fixtures on the list this evening, as Man City travelled to West Ham and Chelsea hosted Leicester City.
Here's what happened.
Scorers: Shaw 80'; Paví 90+1
West Ham buried a 91st minute equaliser to hold Manchester City to a 1-1 draw.
After their collapse from 3-1 up to eventually losing 4-2 to Arsenal at the weekend, the Hammers had battled hard to keep Manchester City at bay for the best part of 80 minutes.
Yet those lines were breached when Mary Fowler played in an angled ball into the box, and Bunny Shaw supplied the finish.
In stoppage time, West Ham turned the tables when Manuela Paví cut inside and supplied the finish.
The result is another disappointment for Man City in what has been a difficult season for Gareth Taylor's side.
Scorers: Macario 8', Beever-Jones 51', Cuthbert 86'; Momiki 55'
After dropping two points at the weekend, Chelsea returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory at home to Leicester.
The league leaders got off to a flying start when Catarina Macario's free kick took a big deflection and ended up in the back of the net.
That lead was doubled when Aggie Beever-Jones netted from a beautiful Mayra Ramírez backheeled assist.
But WSL strugglers Leicester hit back, and halved the deficit when Japan international Yūka Momiki floated a a delicate chip over Hannah Hampton.
Chelsea restored their advantage with four minutes of normal time remaining, as substitute Erin Cuthbert hit a curling effort from outside the box to seal the three points.
The Blues now sit eight points clear at the top of the WSL standings.
The WSL returns on March 14th, when Arsenal travel to Everton for a Friday night fixture.
