The fairytale at the Racecourse Ground continues in North East Wales after Wrexham have officially been promoted to the Championship in historic fashion, becoming the first club to ever make the jump in three consecutive seasons.
Phil Parkinson's Red Dragons ensured their climb up the EFC tier continued on the back of a 3-0 win against visiting Charlton, with goals from Oliver Rathbone and a brace from Sam Smith on either side of the halftime interval guaranteed all three points on the day.
Not since the ill-fated 1981-82 campaign has Wrexham featured in the Championship, but their rapid rebirth under famous owners Ryan Reynolds and Robert McElhenney has supporters dreaming of bigger and better things.
The club will now face another monumental task as it prepares to come to grips with life in an incredibly difficult competition, but if history has taught us anything, it's that Wrexham will once again fancy their chances.
