Wrexham have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Welsh forward Kieffer Moore
The Wales international arrives from fellow Championship side Sheffield United on a contract running until the summer of 2028.
While the official transfer fee hasn’t been disclosed, it’s believed to be in the region of £2 million.
Moore spent last season at Bramall Lane, where he scored five goals in 27 Championship appearances. He helped the Blades reach the play-off final, only to fall short against Sunderland at Wembley, denying him another shot at top-flight football.
The former Cardiff City and Bournemouth striker has already enjoyed two promotions to the Premier League in his career. He made the switch to Bournemouth in January 2022, reportedly for a fee rising to £5 million, and famously scored the decisive goal against Nottingham Forest to clinch promotion.
In early 2024, he went out on loan to Ipswich Town, joining the club in February. During his spell at Portman Road, Moore scored seven goals in 18 appearances, playing a vital role in Ipswich’s promotion to the Premier League. He becomes Wrexham’s eighth summer signing, joining the likes of Conor Coady, Lewis O’Brien, Josh Windass, Ryan Hardie, and Danny Ward, with George Thomason and Liberato Cacace also arriving at the club.
