Wolverhampton Wanderers are in the market for at least one centre-back this January. As per Sky Sports, the Midlands club have made RC Lens’ Kevin Danso (26) a priority target.
However, other targets are being considered but it is clear that Wolves are looking to do their shopping in Ligue 1 this winter. L’Équipe understands that the Premier League side are showing a strong interest in Stade de Reims’ Emmanuel Agbadou (27) and are willing to pay up to €20m to acquire his services.
Whilst Les Stadistes are reticent to selling the centre-back, a figure of €20m could turn their heads. Wolves, however, face competition from Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart. Amid their interest in Agbadou, an enquiry has also been made for Abdukodir Khusanov (20). The Lens centre-back is attracting strong interest from the Premier League, including from reigning champions Manchester City. Les Sang et Or are looking for €30m for the Uzbekistan international.
