Achraf Hakimi, an ex-Inter defender, apologised to his former fans on Saturday after scoring the opening goal in the Champions League Final for PSG.
The Morocco international opened the account after just 12 minutes at the Allianz Arena, steering the ball inside an empty net from a Désiré Doué assist.
Hakimi scored right in front of the stadium section occupied by Inter fans and apologised to them after the ball crossed the line.

The reason is pretty straightforward, as Hakimi is a former Inter defender and a 2021 Serie A champion.
Hakimi only spent one season at the Stadio Meazza, making 47 appearances under Antonio Conte. The Morocco international scored seven goals and provided 11 assists during his time with the Nerazzurri.
Hakimi joined PSG in the summer of 2021 for €68m.
A former Real Madrid defender, Hakimi’s agent recently refused to blame the former Merengues’ coach Zizou Zidane for selling his client to Inter back in 2020.

“Inter signed him because they pushed hard for him. PSG understood he was going to become the best in the world, and they were not wrong,” Alejandro Camaño explained earlier this week.
“His departure from Madrid was due to the presence of Carvajal, who has been one of the best in the world in the same position.
“That completion improved Achraf. It wasn’t a mistake by Zidane. He has a great friendship with him and his sons, but we needed him to play 40 games. Real Madrid always treated him with affection.”
