The Welshman has been linked with a return to his home country this summer.
Ruben Selles refused to give air to reports that Wrexham are interested in Sheffield United centre-forward Kieffer Moore.
A report emerged from Sheffield outlet The Star last week that stated that the Championship newcomers were interested in signing the Welsh international this summer.
Hollywood-owned Wrexham are looking to make a big splash in their inaugural second tier campaign of this century, with an apparent budget of £10 million to spend on improving their goalscoring options. The Red Dragons have already signed former Sheffield Wednesday attacker Josh Windass and Plymouth Argyle talisman Ryan Hardie this summer.
Moore, 32, was an unused substitute in the Blades' most recent pre-season friendly - a 4-1 victory over Chesterfield - but Selles said that this was no indicator of where his future lies.
"Kieffer is our player," the Spanish boss said, via The Star. "I don’t deal with those situations or proposals or gossips and I don’t think he was ready for us today, so I decided to play with some other players we want to see, like Tom Cannon, who was exceptional today in the press and the way that we do it.
"There is nothing from my side on that comment, he was still here and doing his job and working hard for the team. He’s part of us and if the future something happens, let’s see."
Selles also declined to comment on whether any proposal had been sent over from their new Championship rivals about the striker's transfer availability. "We have a lot of good players. So the interest in them is always there and I can understand that.
"Kieffer is a player that has been very experienced in this league, got some promotions and is a big name. Obviously teams are interested in him, but the point where we have a proposal becomes a far away proposal.
"I don’t control that so for me it’s a player that for now is a member of my team and I will decide if I want to play him depending on his performances.
"I think we are very well covered in the No.9 position. We have potentially four No.9s in the squad who have the potential to score goals. Three of them who have shown their ability in the division.
"And Ryan [One] is one of the players who can make the difference in the front positions. So I am happy with what I have right now in those forward positions."
With Moore, Cannon, One, Tyrese Campbell and new addition Louie Barry, Selles has plenty of options to pick from up top. Losing one wouldn't hurt them too badly, but any loss of the Welshman would hurt their tactical versatility.
His horrendous misplaced pass to Tommy Watson at Wembley aside, the 32-year-old showed throughout the play-offs that his physicality and the ease with which he can win direct duels against centre-backs makes him a very tough player to play against, especially if the opposition have defenders who can't match up to his stature.
Unless Wrexham put in an offer that is so eye-widening that the Blades simply can't refuse it, they should have no thoughts of trying to actively move Moore on.
