Premier League clubs have been announcing their plans for pre-season ahead of the new campaign.

Before then, there is the small matter of a European Championships in Germany, with many of the Premier League’s top players taking part.

Then it is straight back into the preparations for the new domestic season. Here is what clubs have planned so far…

ARSENAL:

Arsenal are heading to the United States for their preseason tour this summer as part of their preparations for the upcoming season. Arsenal will first face Manchester United in Los Angeles, which will be the second time the pair will have faced each other on American soil. Arsenal will then travel to Philidelphia to play Liverpool.

  1. 27th July – Arsenal v Manchester United (Sofi Stadium, LA) 
  1. 31st July – Arsenal v Liverpool (Lincoln Financial Field, Philidelphia) 

ASTON VILLA:

Aston Villa’s pre-season schedule over the summer is packed with exciting fixtures as they prepare for a Champions League campaign in the 24/25 season. The team will kick off their pre-season campaign in Slovakia facing Spartak Trnava. The team will then embark on a three-match tour of the USA, where they will face Columbus Crew, RB Leipzig and Club America. Villa will then return to England to play a domestic friendly against Athletico Bilbao and then finally head over to Dortmund to face Brussia Dortmund.

  1. 20th July – Aston Villa v Spartak Trnava (Anton Malatinsky Stadium) 
  1. 27th July – Aston Villa v Columbus Crew (Lower.com Field, Ohio)  
  1. 31st July – Aston Villa v RB Leipzig (Red Bull Arena, New Jersey)  
  1. 3rd August – Aston Villa v Club America (Soldier Field, Chicago)  
  1. 7th August – Aston Villa v Athletic Bilbao (Bescot Stadium, Walsall)  
  1. 10th August- Aston Villa v Borussia Dortmund (Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund) 

CHELSEA:

Chelsea kick off their pre-season tour with a series of fixtures in the United States. The fixtures will no doubt prove crucial for laying the groundwork for a successful campaign with another new manager at the helm in Enzo Maresca. Chelsea will face a mix of domestic and international opponents, taking on Wrexham, Celtic, Club America, Man City and Real Madrid.

  1. 24th July Chelsea v Wrexham (Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara)  
  1. 27th July Chelsea v Celtic (Notre Dame Stadium, Indiana)  
  1. 31st July Chelsea v Club America (Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta)  
  1. 3rd August Chelsea v Man City (Ohio Stadium, Columbus)  
  1. 6th August –Chelsea v Real Madrid (Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte)  

LIVERPOOL:

With the departure of Jurgen Klopp, it is important new boss Arne Slot and the Liverpool team use the pre-season fixtures to get to grips with their new manager’s demands and it will be pivotal in laying the new foundations for the upcoming season. Liverpool head to America to face Real Betis, Arsenal and Liverpool. More fixtures will be released in the upcoming weeks.

  1. 27th July Liverpool v Real Betis (Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh) 
  1. 31st July Liverpool v Arsenal (Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia)  
  1. 03rd Aug Liverpool v Man Utd (Williams – Brice Stadium, South Carolina)  

MANCHESTER CITY:

Manchester City’s pre-season tour will take them across the United States. City will hope these fixtures will set the stage for another successful campaign, and they will face Celtic, AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea.

  1. 23rd July – Manchester City v Celtic (Kenan Stadium, Chapel Hill, N.C.) 
  1. 27th July – Manchester City v AC Milan (Yankee Stadium, New York)  
  1. 30th July – Manchester City v Barcelona (Camping World Stadium, Orlando)  
  1. 3rd August – Manchester City v Chelsea (Ohio Stadium, Columbus)  

TOTTENHAM:

Ange Postecoglou’s side take on fellow Londoners QPR in July and then head out to Japan and South Korea, where they will also face Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich side.

  1. July 17 – Hearts vs Tottenham (Tynecastle, Edinburgh)
  1. 20th July – Tottenham v QPR (Loftus Road) 
  1. 27th  July – Tottenham v Vissel Kobe (National Stadium, Tokyo)  
  1. 31st July – Tottenham v Team K League (Seoul World Cup Stadium) 
  1. 3rd August – Tottenham v Bayern Munich (Seoul World Cup Stadium)
