Hammers denied all three points late on against the Cherries
West Ham drew 1-1 away to Bournemouth in a pulsating Premier League affair on the South Coast.
Lucas Paqueta thought he had scored the game’s only goal in the 87th minute when he calmly finished from the penalty spot after a Tyler Adams handball.
But Enes Unal fired a blistering free-kick into the net minutes later to earn the Cherries a point.
Dom Smith was at the Vitality Stadium to rate the West Ham players’ performances…
Lukasz Fabianski 8 | Star player
Outstanding stop to get down and deny Dango Ouattara at the end of the first half, and made subsequent key saves from Evanilson and Ryan Christie.
Vladimir Coufal 7
A good performance at right-back, getting the better of Antoine Semenyo a number of times to bomb on and cross.
Max Kilman 6
Solid at the back for the Hammers, keeping tabs on Justin Kluivert and Evanilson. A fine block from Semenyo in the second half.
Dinos Mavropanos 5
Another questionable performance from the Greek centre-back, who always seems to have an error in him. Did improve as game wore on.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka 6
Once again coped well on the so-called ‘wrong’ flank with an energetic display at left-back.
Tomas Soucek 6
Full of running on the night as he linked midfield and defence and disrupted Bournemouth’s rhythm.
Edson Alvarez 5
Did make a few mistakes on the night, and was booked in the second half for crudely stopping a Cherries break-away.
Mohammed Kudus 7
Always trying to make things happen for the visitors, dribbling at Bournemouth defence with intent.
Lucas Paqueta 7
Much better from the Brazilian. Not a perfect display, but responded well with a re-call to the line-up as he played both in attacking midfield and, before Niclas Fullkrug came on, as a striker. Scored from the spot nervelessly. Unlucky it wasn’t the winner.

Carlos Soler 7
Good again from Soler, who took control of the middle of the park for the Hammers.
Jarrod Bowen 6
Hit the post in the first half, but things didn’t quite happen for the England international on the South Coast.
Subs:
Niclas Fullkrug (Soler, 57’) 6
Led the line well from the bench, fashioning one acrobatic volley and using his strength to good effect. Headed chance late on was saved.
Crysencio Summerville (Alvarez, 75’) N/A
Oliver Scarles (Kudus, 75’) N/A
Kaelan Casey (Wan-Bissaka, 90+5’) N/A
