West Ham nearing €23m agreement to sign PSG’s Carlos Soler

West Ham United and Paris Saint-Germain are nearing a €23m agreement for the transfer of PSG midfielder Carlos Soler (27), according to a report this Wednesday from Le Parisien. The 27-year-old is yet to agree on personal terms with the Hammers but the outlet understands that Soler may sign a four-year deal with Julen Lopetegui’s side. The former Spain national team manager is reportedly playing an instrumental role in bringing the Spaniard to the London Stadium.

Considering Soler was signed from Valencia CF in a €22m deal in 2022, PSG would recoup their losses with Le Parisien understanding that West Ham’s outlay for Soler would rise to €23m in taking performance-related bonuses into account. PSG are also on the verge of completing Manuel Ugarte’s €60m transfer to Manchester United.
