Emre Can on the change of system:"The system just suits us. With a back three, we can defend on the front foot and can defend in a very aggressive manner. We are more solid at the back, are conceding fewer goals and are scoring goals in attack. That's how it has to be. We've also had good games in the past, but the results were not right. Now the results are right too."

…the belief that they can still make the Champions League:"I already thought about it and believed it in. In February, you could not imagine it happening. Now we're close, but there are still two important games to come and nothing has been achieved yet. I believe that we will win the two matches and that Freiburg will drop points, meaning that we will then be in fourth position in the table."

…keeping tabs on the table: "I think everyone does that. Freiburg still have two games left that also aren't easy and that they also need to win first. But we need to focus on ourselves, do our homework and try to pick up points."

…upcoming opponents Leverkusen:"They can play with freedom because they no longer have anything to lose or to gain. That's when you play at your best. We're aware of Leverkusen's qualities. They have a good team, but so do we."

…their status as the No. 2:"Leverkusen finished as champions last year and in second this year. You can make a statement against Leverkusen. We've had a lot of draws there in recent years.
