Five key Inter Milan starters will be walking the disciplinary tightrope in Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
As the Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, note, Lautaro Martinez, Nicolo Barella, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Benjamin Pavard, and Alessandro Bastoni are all one yellow card away from suspension in the quarterfinal second leg.
Inter will have a full squad available against Bayern Munich on Wednesday – injuries notwithstanding.
There are no suspensions for Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi to work around.
That means that the Inter coach will play essentially his strongest available starting eleven.
Denzel Dumfries will not be available, as the Dutchman is still injured. The same also applies to Piotr Zielinski.
But Inzaghi will not be missing any players to suspension.

However, the situation could change for the first leg of a semifinal tie, should Inter make it that far.
The Nerazzurri will have five starters who are walking a tightrope.
Inter captain Lautaro Martinez is one booking away from suspension. The same is true of midfielders Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
None of these are players Inter would like to be without in a semifinal first leg against (presumably) Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Denzel Dumfries is also one booking away from suspension. However, the 28-year-old will not feature against Bayern due to injury.
