Enzo Fernandez didn’t take kindly to a Liverpool fan taunting him after Chelsea’s defeat in the Carabao Cup final.

It was a sixth straight defeat in domestic cup finals for the Blues who went down 1-0 to Liverpool thanks to Virgil Van Dijk’s header with just two minutes of extra time remaining.

As the despondent Chelsea players walked up the stairs to collect their runners up medals they were taunted by Liverpool fans in the stands nearby.

Mykhailo Mudryk was in front of Fernandez and didn’t respond to any of the jibes but the same couldn’t be said for the Argentine.

The 23 year old looked furious as he and his team mates were mocked with one Liverpool fan saying: “Enzo, unlucky lad.”

The World Cup winner stopped and stared at the fan before being ushered up the stairs to stop the situation potentially escalating.
