Bild reports that VfB Stuttgart have completed a raid of the youth teams of 1.FC Köln and, in particular, RB Leipzig.
The biggest name to join will be Nuha Jatta. The attacking midfielder will join from RB Leipzig and become a part of VfB Stuttgart II, who currently play in the 3.Liga. Last season, the 19-year-old featured in Leipzig’s Bundesliga squad three times but failed to make an appearance. Jatta spent the second half of last season on loan at Torino in Italy.
Following Jatta will be centre-back Tim Köhler, the 20-year-old will move for a six-figure sum. Köhler spent last season on loan in the third division with SC Verl.
Stuttgart’s second team has also brought in Köln winger Mansour Ouro-Tagba on loan. The loan agreement is said to include a buy option. The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Jahn Regensburg, who were relegated from the 2.Bundesliga.
The Swabians’ second team kicked off their 3.Liga season last weekend against Duisburg. Against the Zebras, they lost 2-1.
