Two Barcelona stars set to miss FC Daegu clash | OneFootball

Two members of the first-team ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona are expected to miss the club’s next pre-season outing.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Iñigo Martínez and Fermín López as the pair in question.

Defender Iñigo and midfielder Fermín set alarm bells sounding at Barcelona’s training base in South Korea earlier today.

This came upon both players, early in the morning session, being forced to limp out of proceedings.

In the case of Iñigo, the 34-year-old is dealing with a case of muscular fatigue, which began in training last week.

Teammate Fermín, meanwhile, is understood to have taken a knock to the knee which, though not serious, was enough to force the youngster back to the dressing room early.

Ahead of Barcelona’s final outing of their pre-season tour of Asia against FC Daegu on Monday, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear that neither player will be risked.
