The Bianconeri had been aiming to appoint former head coach Antonio Conte following his Scudetto success with Napoli in 2024-25, but the 55-year-old has since decided to stay on with the Partenopei.

Gian Piero Gasperini had also been touted to take over in Turin, but he has since confirmed that he will be leaving Atalanta and will now join Roma instead.

That leaves Juventus pondering their alternative options, among which is Tudor, who has been dubbed ‘the most qualified’ for the job by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

According to reports from various outlets on Monday, Tudor recently received reassurances from John Elkann, CEO of Exor, the holding company that owns the club.

Elkann has reportedly told Tudor not to worry, nor become distracted by the list of names being linked with the Juventus job in the press.

Tudor’s contract has been automatically extended until 2026 as a result of qualifying for the Champions League, but the Bianconeri still have an option to terminate the coach’s contract for a fee of around €1m this summer.
