But perhaps the one that excites Chelsea fans the most right now is Jadon Sancho arriving from Manchester United on transfer deadline day.

Sancho has shown a lot of quality and potential before. He didn’t settle at United but has shown what he is capable of on a weekly basis in different stints at Dortmund. Chelsea will be hoping that they get this version of Sancho, and the early signs have been good so far.

Seaman rates Sancho

Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman is adamant that Sancho is a good player and will scare the opposition.

In words cited on X.com, Seaman says:

“Trust me, a confident Jadon Sancho is a good player. Players are scared of him; you can tell that.

“You can see the full-back will go towards him and then back off because they don’t want to get embarrassed by a little trick. He’s got every trick in the book.”

This is all spot on from David, who was also one of the best goalkeepers to ever play for England.

Sancho is a frightening prospect to defend against on his day.
