After Bayern star Harry Kane, Serhou Guirassy is the most prolific striker in the current Bundesliga season. Recently, he has repeatedly been linked with a move to the German record champions. But now a top club from Spain is also rumoured to be interested in the Guinean international.

Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy is having an outstanding season. In his 24 Bundesliga appearances, he has scored 25 goals, plus two goals in the DFB Cup. No wonder the 28-year-old has caught the eye of various top clubs.

Next club interested in the VfB star

According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Atletico Madrid are also rumoured to be interested in signing Guirassy. According to the report, the capital city club is planning a personnel shake-up next summer. There could be changes in the offence in particular.

The sporting futures of Alvaro Morata, Memphis Depay and Angel Correa are said to be open – only France star Antoine Griezmann is firmly planned for next season. And Guirassy could now apparently become the 2018 world champion’s new strike partner.

However, several Premier League clubs are also said to have the former Cologne player on their wish list. These reportedly include Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United. There is also rumoured to be interest in Guirassy from Serie A.

Are Bayern making a move for Guirassy?

FC Bayern have also apparently been looking into signing Guirassy in recent weeks. Primarily because the striker would be available for a relatively low transfer fee of around €20 million in the summer thanks to a release clause.

According to Sky, however, FCB’s interest in Guirassy has cooled. Accordingly, signing the striker would be a very expensive package despite the low transfer fee. Including salary, signing fee and consultant commission, a transfer would cost a total of between 70 and 80 million euros.

Mathys Tel would also be given more playing time in the coming season. Max Eberl in particular is a big fan of the exceptional 18-year-old talent, whose contract was recently extended until 2029.
