Tottenham Hotspur forward Brennan Johnson earned us all three points with a last-gasp winner against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
And his celebration may cause some controversy in the wake of the full-time whistle with the Welshman, seemingly, imitating one of the Brighton players.
We suffered a heavy defeat earlier in the campaign against the Seagulls and it seems one of their players’ celebrations has lasted in Johnson’s memory.

Not only were we able to claim all three points against the Seagulls at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but we were also to take some revenge on Roberto De Zerbi’s men for the game earlier in the season.
Joao Pedro knocked home Brighton’s fourth in the game back in December and, despite the win being all-but secured, he proceeded to celebrate to the cameras.
And it is apparent Brennan Johnson had not forgotten that as he was spotted copying the Brazilian’s celebration when he netted the late winner on Saturday.
It may have been slightly cheeky from Johnson, but it shows the players may have had more than three points on their mind as a result of the defeat earlier in the season.

It wasn’t too long ago when a player did similar against us when Brentford’s Neal Maupay copied James Maddison’s darts celebration.
However, in this case, it seems as if Johnson has done so in retaliation of Pedro’s potentially unnecessary celebration given the game was so far out of reach for Spurs.
In comparison, Maupay’s felt purely out of the intent to get a reaction out of our players.
Forgetting the celebration, it is great to see Johnson finally beginning to find his feet in a Spurs shirt.
He now has two goals to his name as a Spurs player in the Premier League after also netting in that game against the Bees just the other week.
Strength in depth is exactly what we need this season and we certainly seemed to have that off the bench against Brighton.
